Compassionately
Stoneground Books is a cooperative of writers in Ithaca, New York who create
and publish by hand books of prose and poetry. These books are then distributed
throughout the local community and abroad with the help of local bookstores,
cafes, theaters and people.
We also plan, produce
and participate in both spoken word performances and open mic nights at local
venues.
Most importantly,
C. Stoneground provides a place for people to get their words and ideas out.

Latest news, baby.
On December 1st, the group travelled to Aurora for an anti-war reading/performance at Wells College. Dan Collins shared some new and old material, as well as some kick-ass banjo pluckin'. Liam O'Kane read some selections from the new book, Multitudes. And Dan Kiely riffed on some anti-war poetry and performed songs from his new album, Homefires with the other members of FOG (Friends of George). Compassionately Stoneground's new media maven, Glen Randy Ahart captured it all on DV.
